We are making amazing progress on our expansion! We started on August 7, 2025 and we are happy to report our building expansion project is progressing well. These changes will help deliver delicious meals to even more of our Seniors and those in need.
Some of the major tasks completed include:
• Installed forms for floor slab
• Install vapor barrier and welded wire mesh for floor slab
• County inspected and passed under slab plumbing installation
• Village inspected and passed concrete footings and wall construction
• Excavated trench across parking lot and installed conduits for new electrical service to building
And our plan calls for the following to be completed in the near term:
• Complete trench excavation and conduit installation
• Encase electrical conduits in concrete and backfill trench
• Pour concrete for floor slab
• Strip forms from floor slab and sawcut control joints
• Begin construction of building addition wall framing
We are definitely “under construction” – making great strides in accomplishing the completion by late spring/early summer!
