You will receive one HOT meal & one COLD meal along with a beverage delivered between 11:00am and 1:00pm, Monday-Friday. Meals are available for weekends and are delivered on Wednesdays and Fridays.

We provide an unrestricted or therapeutic diet to help combat health conditions, such as:

  • Diabetes
  • High Cholesterol
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Renal Disease
  • Difficulty Chewing

North Area Meals on Wheel

Eligibility:

  • Recipients are homebound and unable to cook, shop for, or plan nutritious meals, but are otherwise able to live independently.
  • Individuals of any age who are rehabilitating from a short or long-term illness, or are temporarily or permanently disabled are eligible.
  • Assistance may be available for those age 60 or older; receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI); or through other  managed care insurances. We also accept SNAP (food stamps).
  • Services can start the next day, if needed.
